What is Valparin Chrono?
Valparin Chrono is an anticonvulsant used to control seizures in people with epilepsy. It can also be used to treat bipolar disorder and migraine headaches.
Valparin Chrono is not a cure for these conditions. It is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed and not to stop taking it without talking to your doctor.
Before taking this medicine
You should not use Valparin Chrono if you have liver disease, a urea cycle disorder, or a genetic disorder called mitochondrial disorder. Tell your doctor if you have ever had:
pancreatitis;
a bleeding or blood clotting disorder;
a low platelet count;
a history of head injury, brain tumor, or meningitis; or
a history of drug or alcohol addiction.
